Why A Havanese?

The Havanese is a small but very sturdy dog with immense charm.  He is slightly longer that tall and has a profuse coat of untrimmed long, silky and wavy hair.  His tail is plummed and he carries it loosly curled over his rump.  

The Havanese is a very charming little dog and loves people of all ages.  The Havanese make excellent pets and do well will children.  They are known to do well with other family pets and enjoy just being with the family.     They are a very family oriented dog.

Havanese History

The Havanese is a native of Cuba.  over the centuries he has evolved from an aristocratic pampered lap-dog to what he is today.  As a family pet of a people living on a small tropical island, he has served as a companion, watchdog, childs playmate and herder of poultry flocks.
